I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Arts Education from the Amsterdam University of the Arts, and have since fulfilled various roles teaching adults, teenagers as well as young kids about art and creativity. Having hands-on experience with the different learning styles and needs of these groups, I’ve learnt how to structure my content and adapt my presentation accordingly. Between 2015 and 2020, I created, organised and led various workshops in Berlin focused on lettering, illustration, drawing, and design. My overarching goal with these workshops was to make creative expression accessible to anyone and to emphasise its importance as a fundamental human experience. I loved being able to help people overcome their obstacles and achieve a state of flow through creative activities.
My role as Education Manager and Project Manager at Berlin Kreativ Kollektiv further enhanced my skills in event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and content creation. One of the most satisfying aspects of this role was empowering other creatives to start and professionalise their own teaching practices. As part of a small team, I successfully organised two business conferences, workshops, and events, collaborating with various stakeholders and providing valuable resources to the creative community.
I'm an artist, designer and project manager, working from my studio in Berlin-Wedding.
